Sound of the Strand Chorus Leadership

Sound of the Strand Chorus thrives in part because of the commitment of the people in leadership. Here are a few of the people that make our ensemble tick:

barbara

Director: Barbara Mousaw

Our Director, Barbara Mousaw, has been a Sweet Adeline since 1976 when she joined the Syracuse Chorus. After singing with and directing choruses in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, she became a charter member of Grand Strand Harmony (now Sound of the Strand) in 1997. Barbara is a Certified Director with Sweet Adelines International and became the Director of GSHC in 2009. Barbara has served the Region as a Faculty member and also worked on the administrative team as Regional Treasurer, Member Development Representative, and Regent. Barbara recently retired from full -time employment as an accounting manager for a church, and now has time to pursue her hobbies – golf, needlework, and singing!

Team Coordinator: Pam Bosselait

Pam has been a member of the chorus since 2016. She has extensive musical experience and is also a member of the music team.
